Temples – Colours To Life [Watch]

Back at the beginning of April we briefly covered neo-psychedelic rockers Temples and their rather magnificent single Shelter Song. Martin wrote, “The songs are louder, clearer and chocked full of instantly catchy hooks; unashamedly pulling in retro influences from acid era Byrds to (dare I say it) The Beatles – all brought up to date with some booming, breakbeat-esque drumming.” Now roll on a month and a bit and we can follow that up with their brilliant new single Colours To Life, due out 24th June. It’s more of the same (which will please Martin no end) and as before, expertly crafted. The video’s colourful and suitably psychedelic although otherwise a pretty standard music video, no bad thing after the creepy Junip video we covered last month – I’m still not sure I’m over that one. There’s also a raft of tour dates below as well should you prefer the live experience.
